The True light of Christmas lights are a symbol of Jesus

Christmas lights are a symbol of Jesus Christ

Jesus Called himself the “light of the world.” His presence is a beacon of hope and guidance. Without him, there would be no Christmas. The Christmas story we heard as children illustrates God’s solution—how He brought light back to our dark world with the birth of Jesus, restoring hope and illuminating our paths.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

Admire the True lights of Christmas time.

As you drive around your neighborhoods and cities this time of year, admiring the brightly lit houses, remember those twinkling lights serve as more than mere decorations; they symbolize the guiding light of Christ that shines in our lives. On a spiritual level, the light of Jesus has the incredible power to dispel darkness, even in the most challenging and painful moments we face. It reassures us that we are not alone during tough times; instead, we can lean on Him to guide us through our struggles and redeem our suffering for a greater purpose. When we nurture a relationship with God, His light fills our souls, enabling us to be vessels of His love and truth. If we never step into the light, we will never experience life the way God wants us to.

There comes a moment in every believer's life when the light of the Lord beckons us, prompting us to invite Him into our hearts. Let us pause to reflect on that significant moment when we first embraced Jesus and how He opened our eyes to a new way of being. Take this time to thank God for the light of Jesus, for He is the reason we celebrate Christmas.

Jesus is not just a figure from a story;

He is the heart of our Christmas celebration and the source of our hope, joy, and love.

Luke 2 The story of Christmas

Luke 2:7-14

7 And Mary brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
